EVENT CREW positions are part-time and on-call split shifts, with a minimum 4-hour call per shift. The focus of this role will be to provide assistance with delivery, set-up, and strike of events. Shifts may also be available to provide additional support in the Warehouse.
RATE OF PAY: $25 per hour
4-hour minimum pay guarantee per shift

Additional shifts may be available in the Warehouse

Event Crew members are hired as hourly employees (no contractors)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive on time, prepared to begin work
Take direction from the Event Lead
Unload and load trucks of boxes, bins, furniture, and event material
Use moving equipment (rolling boards, pallet jacks, etc.)
Assemble pipe and drape
Set up and/or assemble other event décor and props
Carefully unpack and repack breakable décor and props
Clean, inspect, and report any issues with event materials and equipment during on-site operations
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Travel up and down stairs unassisted while carrying objects
Push, pull, and otherwise move large, heavy items with the use of moving equipment
Comfort standing and moving for extended periods
Ability to work in tight, awkward, or restricted spaces
Reliable transportation to and from event sites, including late-night shifts when public transit may be unavailable
ASSETS
Previous event and/or stage crew experience
Experience with professional draping
Strong problem-solving skills
The ability to identify and use appropriate tools to resolve on-site challenges
